How will i know if my am staff is in labor?

Well we went camping Friday can back early on Sunday cause she was acting different and since we have been back all she has done is sleep she don't want to go outside. I took her temp about 7 a.m this morning it was 98.6 and today she is 56 days she i start getting everything prepared? I already have alot of stuff ready.

Sleeping is not a sign of labor. Restlesness and shaking is a good sign. Good Luck

dogs give birth around 60 to 63 days. her v****a will elongate and swell a little. then they are definitely on the way!!!  i have had a litter before and the mom wouldn't eat on day 61 and 62 so on day 63 i gave her some milk bones about 6 large ones and she devoured them.then she had them that night. it always depends on the dog though. get ready because it won't be but a few days and they will be here.  good luck:)
