How will i pay for item on ebay using paypal?

i already have an account on paypal but it says that the balance is 0 dollars and i need to pay for an item on ebay.

When you process the payment through PayPal, it will ask you what backup method of payment you prefer, and give you the opportunity to enter your credit card to cover the payment.

You can either register your checking account with Paypal so it immediately draws from there, or you can register your credit card with them and it will do the same.
