How will life in Harrogate, England differ from life in Texas?

I am from Houston, Texas and have to opportunity of living in Harrogate, England for over 2 years very soon. I am bringing a vehicle also. What advice could you give an American who is about to move to the UK? I am excited and want to make the most of my time there.

you need to get used to the driving there. my uncle used to live in houston too. and went to london for a job and had some wrecks.. now he lives back in houston =)
