  1. fine sir dont kill yo self every one has problems like me my cars transmission is gone and im hating life really bad right now but i know it will get better just hang in there good luck

  2. First a reply to this:   "First off, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Don't do it! Life is too precious."

That depends on the situation,  I think having your wife and child killed is pretty d**n permanent.

    To the OP:

Not sure about the whole gun in puclic or whatever deal.

But, when I downed about 1500 mgs of morphine & Benydryl in pill form and my friend stopped by (he got off work early grrr) to check on me he called the cops.

A cop and paramedics arrived.   I was given the option of getting in the ambulance or being forced in and tied down.    If they give you the option I suggest you take the former rather than the latter.   And avoid trying to grab the cops gun,  He'll just tie you tighter,    very uncomfortable.

  3. you will be arrested and sent for psychiatric evaluation, if you succeed, you will remain at the scene while the cops sip coffee, down a few donuts, and crack a few jokes while they do an investigation then after a few hours pass, you will be placed into a body bag for removal to the morgue, then your family arrives to identify you and leaves with their lives ruined. Now I ask you, was it worth it?

  4. First off, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Don't do it! Life is too precious.

The Police will most likely try to get you help. Their response will depend on what you are doing. For instance, don't wave a weapon around or they might taze you or even shoot you, but I doubt it will kill you, so don't think about "suicide by cop". It's cruel for the responding officer, and you most likely will either die much more slowly and painfully due to being shot in the chest area instead of offing yourself quickly, or you will live and have to face criminal charges.

Get some help. If you are seriously considering suicide, go to an emergency room and tell them you are suicidal and they will help you.

  5. They'll probably send out a negotiator if it's public. It seems like theres plenty of them here already though. If it's in a private household, then theres no way for them to know. They legally aren't able to enter your house unless they have a warrant, you give them permission, or theres apparent emergency(ex, screaming)

  6. Sometimes, the police intervene by shooting the suicidal person to death.

  7. They will get you help

  8. Well they will most certainly restrain and try 2 stop u from killing urself, because it is against the law, they will not let u kill urself like a couple of the first answers say, and u will proly b sent 2 a mental hospital and will not b realeased 4 a very long time.

  9. If you are just wondering, please do me a great favor and read this article posted on the LA Times

    http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-...

He was attempting suicide and ended up getting 11 life terms...

Thank you, and take care of yourself!

  10. They will make sure you have a safe place to kill yourself.  They will make sure you have enough time to pull it off and some officers may even offer you tips on how to succeed.

    Hope you have a blast!

  11. Well, in this day and age, they'll probably try to taze you, if they get the chance. Otherwise, i think standard practice is to call on your family and friends to try and talk you out of it.

Now, are you serious? How old are you, even? Do you have any idea of what you'll be missing? You only get this one life, man. There are no continues, no extra lives, no nothing.

Whatever your problem is, it can be solved, if you just ask for help. And do ask, someone will surely be there for you.
