i run track nd lift weights. my diet is pretty good. how will swimming help my body?

  1. Swimming build your cardiovascular endurance. Also builds long lean muscles. I'm not sure what help you want. Just to have a better body? Swimming will burn a lot of fat. Better than about anything else.

Mentally, it is relaxing and gives you time to think, unless you are getting ready for a competitive event.
