How will the Capitals do this season?

Will they win the SE division/make it far in the playoffs?

On paper they will be a remarkable force and will go very deep into the playoffs.  They have a stunning offensive line-up, and an up-and-coming defense which really began to hit its stride last season and should be even better this season given the added experience.  They might be slightly weak in goal or on defense, but Theodore is barely a step down from Huet and the Caps defense is very underrated.  This is going to be a season to remember for Caps fans and I for one can't wait for it to start.

To the person who says doubtful in 3rd, they will get third because they win their division, but the atlantic will once again produce 4 playoff teams, and 1 or 2 from the sout, and 2 or 3 from the north,

Anyway, the capitals have a very dangerous team, especially with ovie, but not many huge moves were made, however they should have fedorov(hoping his financial status doesnt affect him) and nylander for the whole season, which will help bring veteren presence, but there d is a little weak, but stronger than TB, they will win the division, if there are no major injuries, cuz they are 1 injury away frm missing the playoffs

i think with getting rid of huet who didn't want to be their and getting Theodore who cant wait to play for them is great. they will do great they have an amazing team not just ovie. even if ovie got injured they could still do it with semin, backstrom, federov, nylander they have plenty of great forwards and good d. green he is amazing.

in my mind they made it to they eastern conf finals last year. they refs made a terrible call in game seven when they shouldve cancled a goal.

i'm going to the home opener oct 11 vs blackhawks. cant wait to welcome the new goalie and curse they old one.
