In regards to her husband being a part of the Oil industry ? That will be a hard sell to the independent voters...

Also she is facing ethics investigations by her own state.

  1. MSNBC?? 'nuff said..move on

  2. Just tell the truth, that the GOP will help keep taxes low for us rich people and let the middle class slide into poverty.  We don't care about the middle class, we are rich, why should we care if they lose their jobs because we send them to Indonesia, or lose their health insurance and die in the street.  If they want to vote for us, well, its their funeral!

  3. Why do you think it's so wrong for a guy to work for an oil company?!

  4. It will be pretty easy if the attacks will contain misinformation such as you have presented, all they will have to do is present the FACTS

    1) Democrats keep saying that she's 'in bed with big oil companies' (she actually fights against big oil, but why let facts get in the way?) and 'her husband is an oil lobbyist/oil exec' or 'her family is in big oil'

BP is one of the 5 major employers in Alaska, it employs thousands of people who live there...Palin's husband USED to work for BP (as the person above me pointed out, it's off and on) as a lineman on an oil rig, a blue collar job like the majority of Americans have, I guess they think if you pump gas at a BP gas station, you're 'in big oil', too...Somehow, one of the Dems got it all screwed up, and the rest of them parrotted it, like they do...

For those who seem so interested in Palin's husband's career, he NOW works as a commercial fisherman, that's another blue collar job, btw...So, I guess you guys should start saying that he's a fish exec, or she's in bed with big fish, or her family is in big fish or something...You know, however you want to tell it

OH, and her parents were public school teachers, now retired...Also blue collar...Sorry to burst your bubbles.

    2) "Palin has shown boldness in going after Big Oil, whose money has long dominated the state and helped fund its Republican machine. In a snub to the oil majors, she has proposed TransCanada Corp., a Calgary energy company, be given the primary contract to lead the $30 billion job to build a natural-gas pipeline from Alaska's North Slope.

"Palin has accomplished a feat which has eluded the U.S. Congress for many years. She has pushed through the Alaska legislature a natural gas pipeline project which will bring new supply and price relief to the lower 48:

On Aug. 1, the same day the call for a vote on drilling began on the House floor, the Alaska state Senate approved a package of measures to license a new natural gas pipeline. House Bill 3001 lets Palin award the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act license to TransCanada Alaska, a pipeline builder that cast a winning bid of five.

The legislature had been trying for 30 years to authorize something like this and, up until now, had blown it. Palin got it through. Getting it off the ground, the state says, will be the biggest construction project in U.S. history.

Palin considers the $26 billion project her biggest accomplishment as governor. "It was not easy," she told IBD. "Alaska has been hoping and dreaming for a natural gas pipeline for decades. What it took was getting off the dime and creating a competitive market in Alaska."

The 1,715-mile gas line would stretch from Alaska's North Slope to Fairbanks and down to Alberta, Canada. Then it would take existing gas lines to Idaho. In 10 years, Palin says, the lower 48 states would receive 4.5 million cubic feet of natural gas a day. By 2030, according to Energy Department estimates, Alaska's annual natgas production would quintuple to 2 trillion cubic feet.""

    3) As for the ethics committee investigation (Palin FORMED that ethics committee, btw), she did nothing wrong and that will be proven...I'm sure that everyone knows the full story by now.

If it's this easy for ME (and any of us other common people who can search the internet), I'm sure the GOP will have no problems

    Got anything else?

  5. He is a commercial fisherman that works as an oil field worker in the offseason, it isn't like he is an executive

  6. I think the GOP will protect Palin from getting attack to much, by dodgeing  some question on her,  then try to put the attacks on Obama, to  make sure he seems untrustable for  the undecided voters to trust him, by making a stronger attack on anti abortion,  and to push harder that Obama voted against  pro-choice,  so i see those becoming a factor

Which i expect next week when Mccain does his acceptance speech, so in other words, the GOP will most try to limit any attacks on there new female vice president, while makeing  sure they can put terrorist or terrorism. in the minds of america voters, when they think of Obama, since to them he does not love him country
