  1. Ryan K is a dumbass because Baron didn't get traded.

Depends on what they do the rest of the off-season.

  2. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Don Nelson sneaks them back into the play offs next year. But playing up-tempo small ball will only get you so far. Don Nelson = Excellent regular season coach

  3. Don't let these Laker fans - Kobe jocks get to you mate.  Their Lakers just got blasted by Beantown in this year's Finals so if you want to talk about embarassment, I wouldn't be the one talking if I were them.

Now, to answer your question, I think these year will be a new beginning for the W's.  We acquired quite a number of new pieces to the puzzle but we've lost the cheese in Baron that holds the pizza together.  However, I'm confident we'll be further along than most people think.

Having Monta at the point will be a little different because he's more of a scorer than a distributor but we've acquired Maggette to help ease some of the scoring load off the rest of the team because he can create his own shot.  Chris Mullin told Nelson to play the younger players and the rooks this year so we may start seeing Wright and Randolph on the floor this year, I hope.

Instead of having Baron trying to create the offense for everyone, we may start seeing more passing and sharing of the ball.  We're going through a rebuilding phase but under Mullin's lead, at least we're moving in the right direction.  If Randolph develops into a Lamar Odom type of player and Wright evolves into another Chris Bosh, we'll be a very formidable team in the next few years.  So just sit back and enjoy the show next season and remember, it don't matter what the haters say as long as "We Believe".

  4. horrible they traded the best point guard dunker for someone stupid

  5. ***** **** U ***** I'LL KNOCK *** OUT BOY DONT SAY NO **** LIKE THAT AND THEY ARE GOING TO DO GOOD

  6. I'll preface my answer by saying that I love the Warriors and I have always liked Don Nelson as a coach.

Losing Baron Davis and Jason Richardson the year before are major blows.  The West is just so d**n competitive.  I just can't imagine a scenario where they'll make the playoffs.  I really like Monta Ellis and Biedrins, but will they really develop into that good of players (or Brendan Wright).  The same can be said about the rest of their good young talent.  They are good, but just to pull an 8th seed in the West is no small task.  The Blazers will have Oden now.  The Nuggets will be tough even without Camby.  The Clippers now have Camby and Baron.  The Rockets got Artest.  The Spurs, Suns, Lakers, Mavs are hard to not imagine in the playoffs.  The Jazz and Hornets still have their cores.

I'm just giving some honest skepticism here.  Don Nelson helped make the Dallas Mavs relevant again back in the day, so who knows?  He might be able to steer them into the playoffs.

  7. First off, Baron didn't get traded.  If he had, the W's would have gotten something in return.  As for this season, i think they win between 35 and 42 games.  They could do better or worse depending on injuries.I think they will be in the hunt for the playoffs (if the roster stays the same as today) until the last month.  I think small ball will keep them in the hunt until then.  If the can make a trade for a low post presence at the trade deadline, I think they can do it.  There are two variables here:

    1.  Ellis and Beidrens are still very young.  Neither is 24 yet and they still have a lot to learn about the playoffs and the game.

    2.  Maggette could totally explode this season under Don Nelson.  He asks for little defense and lots of offense, a Maggette specialty.  If he were top 7 in the league in scoring it would not surprize me.

Other than that, I don't know that they make the playoffs, but they are going to be close (again, barring injury).  I think they will be a fun team to watch and you'll get your money's worth if you go to or watch games.  Who knows, an injury here or there to other teams, or some trades don't work out and they could surprize some teams.  It's happened before.

  8. whoser than last yr without baron

  9. 30-52. No Baron, no playoffs and no hope! HAHAHAHAHA

    Think Happy Thoughts!

  10. wait and see

  11. They will do great. monta ellis and andris biedrins will carry the team to the playoffs

    HIFIVE!!! LESS GO

  12. 35 WINS AT THE MOST!!

  13. Their starting lineup consists of three guys that averaged 20+ points last year.  Many ppl dont see that.  They still have the big gun in Stephen Jackson, who is just so underrated.  He hit probably more clutch shots for us than Baron.

Monta Ellis will sprout.  Finally will get the chance with major minutes.  26-27 points a game is reasonable.

Maggette, 20 points, a great free throw shooter(something the Warriors lacked last year).

Biedrins, along with Monta, resigned for 6 years.  Warriors will keep winning for six years.  Andris another very underrated center.  One of hte softest hands in the NBA.  60% field goal percentage.

Young point guard talent in Marcus WIlliams, mite be asked to take the ball and mite be a surprise next year.

Azubuike, the guy that no notices(other than his name).  He is Briand Cardinal(the Custodian's) replacement.  Does such a great job at finishing and doing his job. Loved the fact we didnt let him go to LA.

How bout the youngsters: Brandon Wright, Marco Belinelli and Anthony Randolph.  I see both Wright and Bellinelli to sprout and mature next year.

Al Harrington(the guy that tends to get swept under the rug), remember he can avg. 15 points, 7 boards.  An excellent three point option.

Ronny Turiaf, knows what its like to be on the winning side.  Can you imagine Ronnie and Andris and Azubuike all on the court at the same times.  So many blocks, steals, offensive boards and hustle plays. It will be scary

Don Nelson, at the helm of the Warriors bench.  WIll make sur ethe young guys play like stars.

  14. Now with Corey Maggete, the rest of the Dubs and Monta Ellis as our PG wer gonna prove all u haters wrong!

    This is the year!!!!

    GO WARRIORS!!!!!!!! =D
