  1. It could be a success,or a failure,depending if the try.

The PG position is fairly good, and Marbury's contract expires this year,so that is good news.

The SG position is good also, with Jamaal Crawford being a 20 PPG scorer.

The SF position is average, but if Quintin Richardson can become a great shooter like he used to be,the SF position will be fine.

The PF position is very good, with Zach Randolph almost being a 20-10 guy.The downside is that is the only thing he can do.

The C position is just awful.Eddy Curry?Come on!I think they should trade for a defensive minded Center.

If team chemistry is an issue, the Knicks will be a little better than last year.If not, they could contend for a low playoff seed.

    hope this helps.

  2. i dont think they will do much better this year. they are still rebuilding and will eventually get better. mike d'antony was a great addition and i think he will do an excelent job, but im pretty sure they will not make the playoffs.

  3. They will improve. That's a given. No offense, but there's nowhere to go but up.

    Here are a few thoughts:

    - The hiring of Mike D'Antoni is a very good move. Of course, it doesn't instantly make them a contender but it's a smart move. If you would notice, most Knicks players are very good offensive players but terrible defensive players. Mike D'Antoni's run and gun high octane offense is a system that would fit perfectly for the Knicks since they have the right tools for the system. The players' offensive skills would be put to good use and covers their weaknesses. And I think they'll have fun in the system as well.

    - They should get rid of Marbury. Even in Mike D'Antoni's system, Marbury will still destroy team chemistry. I don't think he is needed in New York (or in any team, for that matter). I'd rather have a Steve Blake running the point than a Marbury. The system Mike D'Antoni would apply recquires a good PG that is willing to distribute the ball and is a good shooter like Steve Nash. Not a PG that dribbles for 23 seconds before making a play.

    - Keep Crawford. Remember when Joe Johnson is still with the Suns??? That role would be similar to what Jamal Crawford will play for D'Antoni.

    - Keep Quentin Richardson as well. The Knicks needs to have as much shooters as they can get. Mike D'Antoni loves the three ball.

    - Jared Jeffries would be the lockdown defender. He would be the Bruce Bowen, the Tayshaun Prince of the Knicks. The defender of the opponent's best offensive player.

    - If they would keep Randolph, then he better adjust. He needs to run, run and run, learn to have a good jumpshot and be a the roll man in the pick and roll. How he would adjust would be a critical factor for the Knicks' success.

    - Eddy Curry is too slow for Mike D'Antoni's offensive style. Maybe they should trade for a more athletic center.

    - Danillo Gallinari, I think, would be a good player for the Knicks. But he needs time to adjust. That wouldn't be that hard since Mike D'Antoni was a european coach before.

  4. they wont share the same success as the suns with d antoni cause they dont have a point guard good enough to fit in to the system. they've got the shooters, but they dont have an all around super star to lead the team. marbury and duhon combined will never equal steve nash. zach and crawford are gonna go back to being selfish. curry will get dunked on 1000 times this season. i think galinari is their bright spot but i think the knicks couldve gotten some one better. someone who could play the position they really need. the pg position. they shouldve gotten bayless, he wouldve done great with the team

  5. There going to do good.

  6. I love the yanks man and the knicks will do okay because zack randolph is really good marbury's contract which is hugely overpaid will expire but he does add depth to the team, duhon is average, jamal crawford is a great scorer and d'antoni is one of the best coaches out there. If you like the knicks like every new yorker i hope they do good. well not every yorker but you know most. you're from new york right?

  7. They are going to be almost the same; horrible.

  8. Not dat much better cauz they kinda still have da same guys dat i THINK r selfish and overpaid. But i like their pick and i like their coach change but they gotta do more if they wanna make da playoffs

  9. not that good, i think

  10. Ehh slightly better than last year. There wont be as much drama as there was last year... and you can probably add a couple games to their win column, but still i dont see playoffs for them... so another trip to the lottery.

  11. They are in the east so their chances are good lol

  12. Terribly.  D' Antoni, Duhon, and Gallinari arent going to push the Knicks anywhere.

  13. the mess that Zeke has made of this franchise is enough for a LIFELONG Celtics fan feel sorry for them (sorry Dad, I know we HATE the fricken Knicks - but MY GOD)...the unfortunate thing for the Knicks is that as much damage that Isiah has done with his WILDLY illogical coaching style is VASTLY overshadowed with his INSANELY incompetent general management in the area of player selection and development...it will take YEARS and an ACT OF GOD to fix this mess...
