I just don't see them getting out of the ALDS, mainly because they are not a big playoff experienced team. However, they have been very good in their home stadium.

  1. I think they have the chance to do well in the postseason. they just need to focus on playing the game, not concentrating on the history they could make, just like a certain team in the NL trying to shake off a curse. I think the Rays could make it to the World Series, but for them to be winning it would be highly unliklely.

  2. D is an idiot. I really don't know how good of a playoff team they will be, however, I think that the Angels will be too strong. It would be nice to see Tampa Bay win the series though...since St. Louis won't be there without a miracle. But even if we did get there, our bullpen would blow it.

  3. No one really knows what will happen in the playoffs. Remember last year? The Indians never won verses the yankees last year and they beat them in the Postseason. The way I see it is that the Rays will lose in the ALDS. I give a TON of credit for how good the Rays have been this year. BUT they have NO playoff experience.  Yeah the Rockies didn't either and they reached the world series. The Fact of the matter is that the Rockies lost and i think the Rays will lose too... (No offense to Rays fans out there.)

  4. I think if they matchup against the White Sox or Twins they got a shot because their rotation's are pretty even with those teams and in the Twins case so is the offense.  Boston and Los Angeles have too much experience and balance on their rosters I think for the Rays to beat them in only a 5 game series.

  5. I hope they go all the way!!! Go Rays!!!

  6. ??? how should any body now??

  7. Rays = 2008 World Series Champions

  8. Who are they?

  9. Looks like they would get a Central team since Boston will probably take the WC. At this point it looks like they would face the Twins or White Sox no matter what and I don't think experience is needed to beat either one of those teams. The Rays have played well in the face of doubt. I am sure they would welcome this sentiment as well. If playing in the AL East doesn't prepare a team for the playoffs I don't know what does. They by far play in the toughest division in the AL, and probably second to the NL Central. Top to bottom the AL East is the best division though.

  10. They will do great.  I think they'll challenge the Angels for the ALCS.  I think if they stay healthy they'll represent the AL in the World Series.

btw, i'm not from Tampa, or Florida or even anywhere near the South.
