  1. What people have to remember is that, while Alan Faneca was definitely one of the best run blockers in Steelers' history, he was only an average - maybe a little bit above - pass blocker.  Also, he was at odds with the Steelers' O-line coach, and helped to cause the division in the line which led to many of the sacks of Big Ben last year.  And if one preseason game is any indication, the O-line is already starting to come together very nicely.

As for Clark Haggans, Lamarr Woodley made him expendable, and I honestly do not think that he is going to be missed too much; if anything, we may get MORE pressure on the QB with Woodley and Harrison.

As others have pointed out, though, the schedule is extremely tough.  (On that note: What I don't understand is why the Steelers have to go to New England again for the second year in a row; if someone can explain that to me, feel free to go to my profile and email me.)  But other than that one game, where Pittsburgh has to travel to New England, while Cleveland gets to play Buffalo (in Buffalo, no less), I do not see the Browns as a "threat" to our second consecutive division title.

    Go Steelers!

  2. They will be fine. Kemo is going to be a good LG and Haggans will be replaced by Lamar Woodley, who is probably the epitome of a dominant outside linebacker in a 3-4.

  3. This will be a tough season for them, espeically after looking at there schedule. I still think they are a playoff caliber team but they have to come out into the season with their game faces on. They have no room for mistakes. I think the Browns will make it harder for the Steelers to win  the division this year. I think they will finish 10-6.

  4. losing a snaper is always tough but they have built up their offence with wide outs and RB's there defence has also improved so Pittsburghs going to the superbowl i've got a feeling . there going to win there division and go all the way and beat the saints in the superbowl. Got six? were ganna.
