  1. pink makes me happy relaxed

  2. Calm and loving.

  3. Pale pink walls would be nice, but I would use some white, green and grey or tan accessories to keep it from being "bubble-gum."  Pink is a calming color, unless you over-do it and use pink for everything like the drapes and bedspread and seat covers and furniture.  Don't do that . . . even you will tire of that!

    I like a mid-chroma pink  and navy blue together http://www.tmlewin.co.uk/content/product... . .  .but it is not quite as calming.   Pale pink and navy works too . . . http://www.kannstduhaben.de/babywelt/son...

  4. I tend not to like girls who like pink as their favourite color. Stereotypically, they are shallow, self-centred and dumb. Not the kind of person I associate with. I'm just not a fan of girly girls because their conversation only goes as far as "The guy over there is giving me eye contact" or "What do you think is the best eyeshadow color?" Pink in moderation is great. But pink rooms? I'd feel like I was in Princess Bubbleyum's bedroom.

  5. pink + green = girly

    pink + purple = princess

    pink + red = tougher-kinda-pink-girl

    pink + blue = more-mature-pink-girl

    pink + black = gothic [jkjkjkjk]

    yellow is the contraast color to pink..like the opposite of it and makes it stand out.

    and so onn.. just choose another color you like, that you think relays your personality.

  6. maybe light pink i luv hot pink its my fav. color =)

  7. hot pink will make you feel hot!  but light pink will make you ...glow and feel'''''''uuummm excited and joyful and confident!

  8. Actually the opposite of pink is green, not yellow. Remember to add the remaining two primaries together to create the secondary and opposing color.

    Pink(Blush, Petal, Soft) as a wall color can very effective if trimmed with gray, feminine but sophisticated without going Goth. Of course a true gray trimmed with soft pink is an even more interesting statement.

  9. The color pink is considered to be a warm color with the effect of cool colors.  Usually considered a feminine color and associated with love and romance.  It's supposed to have a calming effect.  Notre Dame has their opponents locker room painted pink to make them more sedate before playing football.  Some prisons do the same thing to calm prisoners down.  I read where some psychologist think that over time though, you can become agitated with the color if you look at for long periods of time or get used to it.  I don't know if it's true.

  10. Pink, Mauves, and Lavenders:

    These are the colours of equilibrium. Lavender can help with spiritual healing and is commonly used as a tranquilliser. They all can aid with restful sleep. Lavender is the colour of replenishing and rebuilding, whilst pink and mauve are restful and calming. Even though they are derived from red, and red may be considered an energizing colour, pink is the most calming.

    Being a tint of red, pink also affects us physically, but it soothes, rather than stimulates.

    An additional interesting fact; pink is the color that represents the heart chakra and is known as the chakra that carries the sensibilities of compassion and humanitarianism. Adding pink to your environment can invite :

    *  calm and serenity

        * neutralisation of disorder or dampen frustration

        * relaxation

        * acceptance

        * contentment

    As far as picking which shade you think you will like.... Here's a suggestion:

    Go to a paint store, pick out 3 shades you like, ask for sample pots (they might charge your a dollar or two), then go home, Paint seperate boards with your chosen colors and place it on a wall — against a neutral shade, not the wall color it will replace. Try this out with each board, seperately. If you like your choice (and you've lived with it for a couple days), paint the walls!

    good luck
