  1. the text talks about " all enclosed public places">>>>>You can play on two words....enclosed and public !

Have an open smoking area or you can invite who you want in a PRIVATE space !! :)

  2. You may have to make a distinction between 'private' areas and 'public' ones.

  3. I would think fire codes would preclude that...concentrated oxygen and smoking are a really bad idea.

Seeing how it's YOUR residential home, I'd just declare indoor smoking forbidden. They are ruining your health, and the health of their neighbors. And, like I said, you can always claim the safety issue because it is proven that smoking and oxygen are a very dangerous mix.

  4. No, but you will need to set up an enclosed smoking area that has a vent in it to let out the smoke and heat for winter. It can be set up like the majority of hospitals have. visit a hospital or nursing home and see how they have their smoking areas set up.  You may have some of the elderly that have been in wars and are so addicted to smoking because of the situations they have been in during their military duties that they would be seriously affected if their smoking was stopped.  Check with a VA hospital near you and ask some of the staff members how they handle this.

  5. in what area are you that has a smoking ban? could you please elaborate.

  6. Actually it'll have positive effect and the area will be healthier and stronger.

Only the person who had a sudden stop in smoking will have a cycological effect.

  7. no they will not.

  8. I presume the same way others live in their homes! But a good question, nevertheless.

  9. i would suspect that when the law comes into force banning smoking from all work places then this will include residential nursing homes as that is probably going to be classed as a work place.

  10. They are required to have smoking areas due to the fact that the nursing home is now their home
