  1. No one knows how the market will behave tomorrow, let alone in the next couple of weeks

Any one that gives you a difinitive response, does not understand or know the market, and any one who believes them is a fool

  2. it will either be up or down...j.k no one knows

  3. I think it will go down ( I hate being a bear ), but it could just turn around and go back up if there is some good news but I doubt it.  I think we should ride it out because if you pull out now you might really be disappointed when the market goes up and you are not there.

  4. The market is going to continue to be unstable.

It will go up and down in significant moves. It will generally trend down, for some time at least 1 year if not 2.

I can't see the picture after that because there are so many competing factors.

A lot of it decides on the election, the real-estate market, baby boomers retiring, and how much those clowns in the Congress and Senate put their noses in something they can't even begin to understand.

If Obama gets elected and raises taxes on anyone we will see a huge spike in inflation and the middle class will really start to suffer. Our only hope is that the next president stops spending money immediately and starts to pay off our debt. We are at the tipping point any more spending and we will go completely broke and start defaulting on our debts in the long term. This will cause a global economic crisis like we have never seen in history. The dollar will become worthless and anything we buy from abroad will be very expensive.

The longer the real-estate market is falsely propped up and builders keep building more houses the longer it will take to recover. We need to allow the real-estate market to shake itself out and allow all of the people that made poor loan decisions loans to default and get into homes they can afford.

If the baby boomers pull their money out of the market and move to safer investments when they start retiring in mass in 2010 the market will go steadily down until they die and the heirs get their money and spend it like water to infuse the markets again.

I listen to congress and the senate on Span all the time it is painfully obvious that we have a bunch of financially ignorant politicians. If they start passing crazy laws trying to help the economy they will through the free market into an unknown spin.
