How will these fins improve my boards performance?

i am planning to get new fins- fcs fk-1 s for my 6'8 retro fish

i have been using the fins that came with the board so how much will these fins improve the performance?

There are a thousand theories about fins and performance. The hydrodynamics behind most fin designs has been tested mathematically and in the water by most manufacturers.

The slightly stubby profile of these fins may serve to reduce drag, but I don't know how significant a reduction that will make on a twinny. I ride a custom made twin fin fish with FCS twin fins, but I am not familiar with how the fins you highlighted behave in the water. A lot depends on the type of wave you usually surf, so you might want to rap with the folks at your local surf shop before you leap into buying these.

Improvement from a fin is really subjective and it all depends on what you are trying to improve (down the line speed, turning, etc.).

Sometimes switching fins can really mess you up.   I recommend buying your fins from a good shop that will work with you if end up hating the new ones.
