  1. I am not sure how the immigration situation will be solved/ However, this is a very big problem... i am not talking in terms of the government and how much this will cost to deport....I am  speaking as an american with a husband who is mexican.  This makes all decisions difficult because if your spouce is here illeagally  then you face the idea of seperation.  Or you can pick up all you have as an american and leave all you know and go straight to Mexico.. LOVE is sronger but this damned government is screwed up!!! It makes me angry and I am quite sure there are millions who face the same situation.  regardless of who you are what race anyone can be lazy.... this is just bs.

  2. For illegal invaders, I would have a mass deportation, harsher punishments if caught here after that, build the fence, put more Border Patrol and Military and the fence, with the right to use their weapons!! It would not cost as much as they are costing American taxpayers now!! Some work and many are lazy!!

  3. The number is closer to 20 million. The plan that will result in many illegals self-deporting has already been demonstrated by the laws passed in Arizona and Oklahoma

These laws made it nearly impossible for illegals to work and removed their access to social programs.

Without jobs and government programs they lose their will to remain real quickly and leave.

Pass those state laws on a national level and its bye bye.

  4. I have spoken to very, very few people who are opposed to immigration...LEGAL immigration.  However, the "media" have erroneously equated both legal immigrants and illegal aliens into one definition.  In that way, the media can make "points" by describing citizens of the USA as ethnocentristic dummies...which we are NOT!

I am extremely concerned that to arrive in the USA via non-legal means is to insure the arrivals are criminal at the outset.  I firmly believe that makes the illegal aliens extremely vulnerable.  And that vulerability is not limited to the individual illegal alien, but also his/her family.

I also believe that immigration reform MUST be accomplished.  How?  By raising bar.  To be an American citizen is not the Right of every inhabitant of the world.  It is a priviledge to be sure.

I strongly believe that those employers who hire illegal aliens [and; thereby, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the illegals] should be fined, jailed, and deported - if they are not citizens, themselves.

Okay, so Americans will have to pay more for goods and services here in the US.  So be it.

Here's a thought:  Prior to sending aid monies to nations, the computers should be used to learn how much money is spent on medical services, social services, law enforcement, Border Patrol, and detention expenses of those individuals from the individual nation.  That amount should be subtracted from the aid going to the nation.

Here's another thought:  Make it illegal to send  all but a minimal amount of income earned in the USA out of the USA.

  5. America is build BY and FOR immigrants so how could Americans call them illegal!! Land of the free? Not like this.. land of the racist? Yeah!

I myself am an Immigrant (to put it more official i am a LEGAL immigrant, but Americans forgot that this country has been build by immigrants.

  6. I agree with Razor Jim. Stop giving them welfare, free education, social security, etc and they will leave on their own. Why should they work...we take care of them..those that do work..do it under the table and ONLY work the jobs that Americans can get 3 x as much doing like construction, etc. They won't work fast food, etc..they are too d**n lazy. but if I could move to Mexico and not have to work, get free housing, tons of food stamps, free medical care and free everything else..I would not work either.
