How will this effect how much money i get?

ok so i am going to a community college this fall. i will get paid full pell grant. i would like to know how much money will i get if i take 11 hours instead of 12 hours this fall? i have to take 11 hours because thats how its going to work out.

  1. you should consult with the financial aid department at the college


  2. If you took 11 hours instead of 12 your Pell grant amount would be reduced by about 1/4th.

    So if you were going to get 4,000 initially, you would only get around 3,000.  

    Dude, take a 1 hour class like tennis or health to get up to twelve hours.  By the way, you really need to be in at least 15 hours if you want to graduate with your bachelors degree in 4 years.  If you take only 11 or 12 a semester you will be there until your are ancient.

  3. BUMP up your schedule to add that extra class hour-time.

    PELL Grants are allotted in blocks of payments per the number of class-hours.     Depending upon your course directive, you could receive much more grant funding for that extra 1 hour classtime; even if it is an unrelated subject.
