ST. PAUL (Reuters) – The Log Cabin Republicans endorsed Arizona Sen. John McCain's bid for the presidency on Tuesday, four years after the g*y Republican group refused to back President George W. Bush's bid for reelection.

The endorsement may boost McCain's reputation as a maverick who reaches across partisan lines, but it may not go down well with his party's conservative Christian base.

  1. I'm a Neocon and I say the more the merrier....Although they are not needed, the debates will lose the election for Obama.

  2. It will play out like the three wise monkeys.

hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil

It is the strategy that they use when they want to pretend that their party is pure and saintly.

  3. Kind of like when Hamass or Ayers endorsed your candidate??  I'm surprised if this is true, I would think that a g*y Republican would be hard to find, however, a vote is a vote & I am glad for everyone of them!

  4. I am somewhat afraid that as you felt that I couldn't ask an intelligent question that you may feel that I am incapable of an intelligent answer but here goes. Two of my Godson's are g*y, they have been in monogamous relationships with their partners for many years. They are kind, loving, intelligent, friendly guys as are their partners and their Republican Christian Aunt loves them very much. While it is not the life style that I would have chosen for them it is the lifestyle that they have chosen. I love them and would never turn my back on them. So if McCain has g*y backers so be it, this is one Christian woman who won't be appalled at the idea.
