It is very hard for a team to come back after losing one of their vital players just before a major competition. But luckily, Pia Sundhage is a good coach who doesn't just dump the ball to abby and let her head it in. I think the main problem is emotions and tactics change. They lost to Norway, but now they won against Japan and are hoping to win against New Zealand. I think they will do pretty well, and it will be great once she comes back.

if greg ryan was still coaching then it would have been a problem because he was give the ball to abby let abby score but pia has the women spreading out more and different people have been scoring than in the past

abby is very tall and very aggressive but kai is also very aggressive but they will seriously be lacking with the height

hopefully today's game was just nerves and the fact that it was their first full game without abby
