How will you help other people in time of calamities?

I don't wait for major calamities.  Horrid things happen to folks every day, so I try to do something each & every day to help someone in need.  There are pics of some of my project on my webpage <www.ShoeBoxProject.org>, + links to other good works projects.

today I am taking clothes and housewares to the goodwill dropoff for the flood victims in my area.  I've been collecting clothes since the floods came to my county.  Even though I'm in a disaster area, I wasn't affected by the flood.  So I decided to help those in my area that were.
