How will you now if your shingles are healing already?

what are the manifestations that it is healing already? what does it look like? my mom has shingles for 5 days already and the blisters are so big..and also some of the blisters erupted and turned dark in color..

As it heals, the rash, blisters, and pain will go away.  She should start healing within the next 3-5 weeks.  Did she go to the doctor?  I hope so.
