by his/her gesture although it is very difficult to predict.

You have to notice the pattern of his/her past behavior.  That takes times to reveal itself to you--especially since people tend to go to great lengths to put their best foot forward during the first year of two with someone new.  

Look for what this person deems acceptable and right; what he/she stands for; how they react in various situations, what makes them angry/happy/depressed. etc.; what are their spiritual beliefs and do they "walk the walk"; how do they spend their money; are they patient, understanding and charitable; what kind of friends do they have; how do they spend their time; etc.  How they spend their time and money are the biggies.

You kind of have to connect the dots in order to see how the picture will take shape.
