  1. The majority of the world's population of access to the Bible.

  2. Dear All

Holy Book Quran answers this question specifically:

14:4 AND NEVER have We sent forth any apostle otherwise than [with a message] in his own people's tongue, so that he might make [the truth] clear unto them; but God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray], and guides him that wills [to be guided] -for He alone is almighty, truly wise.

17:15 Whosoever goeth right, it is only for (the good of) his own soul that he goeth right, and whosoever erreth, erreth only to its hurt. No laden soul can bear another's load. We never punish until We have sent a messenger.

Can any other Holy Book answer this Question?

  3. Well, one time at college, we made a poster depicting the holidays celebrated by a bunch of religions.  Then one night someone took a permanent marker and wrote "Christmas" over everything.  That's how God reaches out to everyone!

  4. Which God would that be?

I have met very few Christians who have read the Koran. (I have met very few who have read the Bible in either Greek or Hebrew - probably they aren't interested in what their book really says).

I have never met any Muslims who read the Bible.

People do not believe in God because he is God; only because he is Theirs.

  5. The Bible either in part or the whole Bible is widespread in all languages now, all over the earth.

I'm not sure exactly what your question is.  Can you be more clearer please?

  6. More than 3,000 years ago, when the writing of the Bible got started, Israel was just one small nation among many in the Middle East.

In the third century B.C.E., for the benefit of Hebrews living in Alexandria, Egypt, translation of the Hebrew part of the Bible into Greek began. Greek was then an international language. Thus, the Hebrew Bible became easily accessible to non-Jews.

When the time came for the second part of the Bible to be written, Greek was still very widely spoken, so the final 27 books of the Bible were written in that tongue. But not everybody could understand Greek. Hence, translations of both the Hebrew and the Greek parts of the Bible soon began to appear in the everyday languages of those early centuries, such as Syriac, Coptic, Armenian, Georgian, Gothic, and Ethiopic. The official language of the Roman Empire was Latin, and Latin translations were made in such numbers that an “authorized version” had to be commissioned. This was completed about 405 C.E. and came to be known as the Vulgate (meaning “popular” or “common”).

Campaigns of oppression and genocide were a real threat to the Bible’s survival.  Happily, the guardians of the Bible—first the Jews and then the Christians—were not wiped out, and the Bible survived.

No other book has been translated into so many languages. The Bible can now be read, in its entirety or in part, in more than 1,800 different tongues. The American Bible Society reports that it is now accessible to 98 percent of the population of our planet. Imagine the huge effort involved in producing so many translations!

Why was it so difficult for the Bible to survive? The Bible itself says: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19)

Why, then, did the Bible survive when so many other pieces of literature that did not face the same difficulties were forgotten? The Bible answers this too. It says: “The saying of Jehovah endures forever.” (1 Peter 1:25) If the Bible really is the Word of God, no human power can destroy it. And right up into this 20th century, this has been true.

    respectfully,

    Simone

  8. Yes there is a spot in the Bible where it says that someone was preaching to lots of people and they all spoke a different language. The guy who was preaching began to talk in a language know as tongs and everyone was able to understand.
