Or perhaps another way to say it is, "How lucky do you feel?"

  1. pretty worried. not too worried because its a natural thing but still worried enough to want to help change the planet

  2. we're all screwed

  3. i am not the least worried. i do not worry about b.s.. if global climate change were real, id worry about it. i worry more about the global climate politicians and the hollywood left getting a piece of my wallet more than anything.

  4. I'm not in the least worried.   Concerned and a little saddened maybe, but not worried.   I'll continue to do whatever needs to be done to keep myself and my family safe and help out others when I can.

  5. Honestly, I think global warming is something to be concerned about. Although the effects are not very visible or bad right now, the scary thing is once it starts and is not helped, it will be harder and harder to fix. This means that generations after us will be left with a big problem on their hands, and then, the effects will be causing many problems such as flooding, extreme heating, animal/plant extinction/endanger, etc. So I really think that they key to global climate change is to fix it now so it won't keep getting worse. Although some people do not beleive in global climate change, I was utterly convinced after looking at the statistics. If you want more information on the subject and the effects, I would suggest watching Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, or reading some books about climate change. Being educated will help  us realize the extint of the problem and how we can better help the cause and stop global warming. To answer your question, I guess I'm worried about global warming and I don't want generations after us to feel very unlucky because of our actions/decisions. I hope this helped :)

  6. What global climate change are you referring to?  The change from winter to spring? The change from spring to summer?

You do know that there were ice ages and droughts  and other cataclysmic weather long, long, long before SUV's and carbon footprints.

Don't believe everything you are told without questioning it!!!

Air pollution and a clean environment are things we can affect.   I really don't think we can affect the weather.

  7. We should be really worried about global climate change. Lets change the way we think and start acting right now and do what we can do to lessen the carbon dioxide in the air. We wont lose anything if we try.

  8. I know enough that the danger is real and we are in eminent danger of a tipping point where we very well could not only extinct ourselves but the majority of the species on the planet.

I have confidence that even after we are gone (99.9999% of all species that have existed are now extinct) the planet will heal itself and life will go on. The real question is how much unnecessary suffering do we willing to accept as we go through the process of AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming)?

For my part I am devoting my time energy and expense to the environment as the # 1 priority.

  9. 0% worries

100% getting on with my life not worrying and living a good one

  10. Global warming should be the biggest issue for ALL governments. But, like many other things that are important, the government puts out news reports for the media saying there is no problem. And you know why they do that, because the oil companies have lobbyist that help the politicians get elected. We should be horrified at the possibilities that our children and grandchildren might suffer. We need to take action now, to curtail the almost certain horror that will be with them.

  11. Odd as it may sound, because I vehemently support taking care of the planet we live on... my largest worry is economic and personal.  I think it's pretty much too late to make any meaningful change - and those that are in complete denial - like the old song says:

If you don't know me by now... you will never know me...

They're a lost cause and perhaps we should all just refuse to engage...

Oh back to the worry - It's really selfish I know, but I keep thinking "will I have enough money to get my family through a drought, food shortages, diseases, etc."

Because regardless of who caused this or accelerated the current climate change and fastest recorded ice melt in the history of the planet - it's happening and the effects could be catastrophic.

But it's folks with "the means" that tend to have a higher survival rate and if I were a rich person maybe it would increase the likelihood that my children can survive this thing.

Another worry:  Am I living in the right corner of the world in a community that can survive the changes to come?

Sorry I'm rambling, but I hope this sorta strikes a chord with other folks.
