He did heavy binge drinking. He took lsd, Coccaine, Meth. He was a heavy drug user. And he had s*x with loads of people. He was the Britian's version of Gene simmons.

I would say he would die from Cardiac arrest from a drug over dose. He was lord of excess.

I think fame kills people.

  1. how dare you insult Freddie Mercury!?

im with she blows shot and cold. Bob Dylan smoked almost his entire life and he's still here today at 67 still making music and playing shows. a lot of musicians in the 60s, 70s and 80s did drugs and alchohal and most are still here! Freddie might have tried drugs and drinking a couple times but he was an adult! a lot of people have tried that stuff!

it wasnt the fame, it was his lifestyle choice to be g*y.

if you ever insult Freddie or any other great rock ledgend, dead or alive, i hope Gene Simmons kidnappes you and beats the living heck outta you! hopefully it'll knock some sense into your small-minded head!

  2. I'm with She blows hot and cold. Freddie wanted that lie, and it killed him. an accident. probably could've been helped, but he wasn't that bad. he always said that he was in control of drugs (which, yeah, was not LSD and Meth, he wasn't that bad) and i know that it's hard to beleive, but i do. i know that he hated to lose control.

he was not 'lord of excess' and wouldn't have died from an overdose. he may have died due to the drugs, but not overdosing, or cardiac arrest. he took moderate drugs and drank again, moderately. he did have s*x with quite a few people, but also did have long term relationships, when he died he was in a 6 year relationship with Jim Hutton.

You have exageratted all your points, and i'm not saying that they're not on some level true, i can't defend him on everything, but you have very much exaggerated.

he could have died due to any of these points, i really don't know. But he defifitely wasn't the Gene Simmons of britain.

  3. First...where is your proof he used LSD and meth. I've been a Queen fan for 34 years and I never heard this. Freddie drank on a daily basis....mostly champagne or iced vodka. He used cocaine in moderation. That doesn't mean it couldn't have killed him. You only need to use cocaine once for it to kill you. He smoked heavily. All of these he stopped when he discovered he was sick. It was his excessive lifestyle that killed him. Not his fame. Chuck Berry is 80 years old and used drugs and alcohol most of his life. He's still rocking away! It is the luck of the draw. Period!

  4. umm, of course he would have died, no one is immortal. as for all the excess, how many rockers lived the same way and are still here? many, so i think if he had never contracted aids, he would still be here with us today.

  5. He wasnt ******* Ozzy Osboure you douchbag.Where the h**l are you getting this c**p?Check your sources before you talk c**p about people.and NEVER EVER talk about Freddie like that!!His death was caused by his choice of lifestyle.Unfourtantly he would of died sooner or later.

  6. He was not that bad.

You make Freddie sound like some awful coked-out, drug addict old creeper.

Yes, he did various drugs, but back then, who didn't?

    I don't think he would've OD'd, he seriously wasn't that heavy of a partyer.

He actually totally stopped all of that stuff around the time he got sick, he just got bored of it.

He died on Bronchial Pneumonia anyway.

  7. He did die of aids, sadly to say. Great artist, sadly missed...
