Question:

How would I 'word' a past fast-food position on a resume?

I worked at A&W (a mostly canadian fast food restaurant) and I want to put that work experience on my resume as it's the only job I've had that wasn't a volunteer position. I worked in the front where I took peoples orders, did the money transactions, made drinks, and handled small food items. I also cleaned and did drive-thru. I don't know what my official job title was though. Is that considered cashiering or is there a better word to use?

  1. The "back end" is where the food is prepared. The "grill" is where the food cooked and packaged. The "front end" is everything beyond that point.

Because you performed all of these functions without direct supervision or the title of supervisor, it would be "front end coordinator". Good Luck.
