How would I add this rational expression?

How would I add this rational expression?

Its: x-1 over 6 plus x over 6

(I cant figure out how to write the fractions so they show up correctly, I am sorry if its confusing)

You have the same denominator, 6, so just add the numerators.  that would be  x-1 + x=  2x -1

answers is 2x-1/6  which is 2x-1 over 6
