I start work at 4am. Go to bed 9pm. Kids run back and forth through trailer for 3 to 4 hours a night, starting at 9:30pm. I get up at 2:30am. Sound travels, rattles my nicknacks, very annoying.

  1. I know, I know...told my mom to get a handle on my brother, but all she does is yell at him and make the situation worse. Sorry 'bout that.

  2. A small reward for the kids' good behavior during a set period of time might yield some results.

For example, you could buy a pizza for the kids on Saturday if they have left you alone during the weekdays.

And, if you befriend them in a casual, neighborly manner, they may mollify their behavior on their own.

  3. So who enforces the rules.  I'd report it to management.  Kids of any age should not be running through any neighborhoods at 9:30.  It's all pretty scary actually and no matter what you do it's going to build resentment even though you are in the right.  Have you tried headphones or a white noise machine.  We had barking dogs.  I wrote to the owners and asked them if they were aware of the rules against dogs barking for long periods of time after 10 o'clock.  The dogs don't bark after dark any more, but I also get the cold shoulder.
