  1. Use the VGA or HDMI inputs, whichever one is available on both the TV and the PC.

  2. You have two ways to conect this tv. VGA and via HDMI. For vga the conection is straight forward but for the HDMI it all depends wether your graphic card has either one DVI so you can use a DVI to HDMI cable or an HDMI port available (usually, expensive video cards are the ones with the hdmi out).

The video card plays an important role in how the graphics will be displayed on your tv. I have this tv conected to my pc with a Geforce 8500gt, via VGA and yes I am sure you have heard HDMI/DVI is better because its digital and so no conversion needs to be made but let me tell you, at 1366 x 768 the picture is just stunning. You can tweak the monitor and the video card to achieve maximum results. From 8-10 feet away it looks perfect. PDF books look amazing, and text is sharp and crisp. Snes games, pc games, and DVDS with the nvidia pure video HD decoder look amazing....

I just ordered a dual link DVI/ HDMI cable from newegg, to test the difference between the vga and the digital signal. Althought this tv doesnt support my video card fully the conectivity rate of a dual link dvi cable is bidirectional which makes it faster.

If you decide to conect the tv via HDMI/DVI PLEASE dont even bother going to thoe stupid stores such as circuit city or bestbuy as the price on those cables are ridiculously high.

    heres a good cable:

When choosing the dvi to hdmi cable, dont choose unidirectional (the ones that are missing the pins in the middle) make sure it has ALL the pins: DVI-D DUAL LINK TO HDMI.

    Enjoy.
