How would I create two necklaces that would glow only when they are near each other?

I wanted to create two necklaces that would glow when they were near each other but I am not sure what kind of thing I would use some kind of radio transmitter or Bluetooth... btw you can be technical about it I have taken some class in electronics

Okay, if I find something about neckalaces, I'll edit it and tell you.

The decal is removeable.  So, you can always take off the battery, and decal and tie it around your neck or wrist.  But you have to wear a battery all day. :P  I think it's 3 AAA batteries.

You could do something simple...Like:

Get the body, (what you're going to house the lights in), and just wire the two halves. but leave one connection ever so slightly off and put two small magnets in each one. this way, when they're close, the magnets will put the wires closed to the connection.

Just a rough idea, it's a cool idea, and if you like my idea, go ahead and email me and I'll get more specific.
