  1. visit : unjob.com

  2. Go to the UN web site www.un.org and look up career/job opportunities.  You can also go to UN organization web sites like UNESCO or UNDP etc. and do the same.  The UN is a highly competitive place to work.  You usually need to bring special skills.  They are always looking for Peacekeeping forces and many people get their start that way.  Good luck to you.  It's an exceptional place to work. . .and the mission is one of a kind!

  3. Try:  www.vault.com for UN and other jobs.

    Also www.un.org.

If you are really that serious...I suggest you visit the place.  Totally facinating?

I would also suggest the US Dept of State for foreign service jobs.

Good luck on an exciting career.

  4. The UN is the world's biggest beaurocracy ... they probably need people in just about every office job imaginable, but the work force needs to be bi-lingual and diplomatic, given the workers come from all nations.

Very simply ... go visit the place, not just the offices in New York, and ask what job openings they have, what qualifications needed ... this will be a moving target, as with any other place that periodically does hiring.

You can also ask your nation's Dept of State or Foreign Service if there is a career path through UN work, or if any person hired there has to go where sent, without such choices.
