Samt way I did! I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and I am a teacher in the Dallas ISD. I called A+ Texas Teachers (an alternative certification program) had my transcrit sent to them, took the test for the area I wanted to teach(English/Language Arts 4-8) and found a job teaching. I am now taking the classes with A+ Texas Teachers that tells you about classroom management etc and I have a job teaching. This first year is my internship year (I am still paid the same thing as a teacher that went to college to teach) and at the end of the school year I will take the test to recieve my permanent certification. It is a really easy process...and A+ Texas Teacher's is in all of the major Texas cities(Dallas, Austin, Houston, SA....)
