I take Muay Thai and I'm not 18 yet, but I will be, and was wondering if anyone knows how people get contracts with the wcl? And how?

  1. Contact them, let them know about u.

  2. You could try http://community.worldcombatleague.com/k... or go to fightbook.com and check out the WCL profile on there.

  3. Most of the fighters you see in the WCL, IFL, UFC all start on a local amateur fight circuit like a regional promotion and get noticed by the larger fight promotions - I know that Frankie Edgar fought a few fights in a New England league before the UFC.  Now he's fighting on the big shows aired fights.

  4. Try looking for local tournaments taking place at schools around your area. There is a chance that a scouter could be there looking for some new talent. Usually Tae Kwon Do schools have tournaments that are open to other schools, which would be ideal since Tae Kwon Do is probably the most useless kind of martial art ever. You'd totally destroy them.

  5. Beat Chuck Norris in Total Body Gym  squat reps.

    Not Really.

You should try and find out if there are any gyms or dojos that train for this type of fighting or even have any fighters competing in the league. If you can't find anything, find the promotions (WCL) website and see if they have any contact info (email, phone#, mailing adrress, anything) and contact them directly with your question.
