  1. Oliver,

    where are you now located? so i can try to find the correct link for you? i will check back with your question in a bit..........

    are you in the US right now? it is important for Zambia does not have many available sites for embassies in the world...but? it does have one in the US, please come back ......

    i imagine you are way east of the US correct?

    since you are answering me at this time......

    i will give you the only Zambia embassy in the US, that is now have;

    The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia

    2419 Massachusetts Avenue, NW

    Washington DC 20008

    Telephone: (202) 265-9717

    Fax: (202) 265- 9718

    Email: embzambia@aol.com

    keep this,that might be the only way you can contact them.

    if you are in the UK? there is an embassy there also.....

    wait? !

    Rhodesia is Zimbabwe now,

    gee, i am loosing it! ha ha

  2. well first off, you'd have to get ahold of a county that doen't exist antmore.  after that..........sh*t idk.....sry.

  3. Rhodesia became Zimbabwe upon independence from Britain in April 1980. Alot of the less wealthy colonies have a notorious reputation for not keeping legal records. Unfortunately, your grandparents marriage certificate was probably destroyed or discarded years ago. However, if your grandparents were British or citizens of another country, they may have records of their marriage.
