Rhodesia became Zimbabwe upon independence from Britain in April 1980. Alot of the less wealthy colonies have a notorious reputation for not keeping legal records. Unfortunately, your grandparents marriage certificate was probably destroyed or discarded years ago. However, if your grandparents were British or citizens of another country, they may have records of their marriage.
