How would I go about doing this?

I've been looking at classes at a local community college for dental assisting. I've always wanted to do something in the dental field, but I'm not sure what I'll need before I apply. It says I need to fill out an application form, but what could bar me from not being accepted other than them not having room? Also, could i not be accepted just because I have my GED where as, someone else has their diploma? Should I take an SAT and ACT test before I apply as well. I'm going to speak with someone from the school, but I just wanted to know now since I can't go up there until Monday.

Definitely talk to someone from the school.  Each scool is a little different.  A GED should not bar you from applying, but the testing may be needed.
