  1. the two above are great answers and you should follow those. the thing about LPN or CNA is that you will need a certificate and you will have to pay for those and take the time to do them and the certificate will not apply to your RN.

the need for nurses are so demanding right now most of the medical centers are pulling students from a different field. i would say to see if you can get into a desk job at a hospital. i have heard a lot of students are pulled from receptionist and send them to school. the only thing is that you will have to sign a contract to stay at least a few years or so.

do whatever you can to get into school with tuition rehimbersment. school is not cheap.

RN programs are full time. i would suggest do FAFSA as well and see if you can get a grant to help with living cost.

  2. In addition to the previous poster, try getting your CNA or LPN and work for a medical facility that does tuition reimbursement. Just start calling them and ask.

  3. 1. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and click on fill out the FAFSA.  Make sure you read all the directions carefully.

    2. Go to www.pin.ed.gov and apply for a dept. of education PIN.

    3. Wait 3 days until your PIN is active and go back to the FAFSA site and sign your application with your PIN.

    4. Wait 2 weeks and call your school to make sure they got your FAFSA. Ask then when you will get your award letter.

    5. Sign up for school.

    6. Go to school and thank the US taxpayers for helping you get your education.
