How would I go about getting a new title for my motorcycle?

I purchased a motorcycle a little while ago. I went to go get it registered and when they did the VIN# inspection they didn't match. The one on the title I received didn't match the one on the bike.

What should I do?

depending on your state, the local laws differ...

in my state, you can title a bike that has a different vin number by having a police officer or any inspection place do whats called a vin number verification, then all you have to do is turn that in to the DMV and request a new title with that vin number on it.....
