  1. The only way to gain direct and full access is to obtain a real estate license, sign on with a brokerage firm, and pay the initiation fees, along with the monthly maintenance fees.  Those databases are private and only for the use of real estate related professionals.

If you want to go that route, figure on spending a couple of thousand dollars to get there, plus roughly $750 a year to continue the privilege.

  2. Acermill is correct. You can also get direct access (at least in some states) if you're a licensed appraiser. Or, in some states, if you're a real estate agent's assistant. There are still fees involved, but not as many.

    Otherwise, no.

  3. Become a real estate sales person.

  4. You can't.

You can have an agent email you listings daily.

    roost.com

    realtor.com

    propsmart.com

    zillow.com

    ziprealty.com  /

  5. You can't get on the MLS without being a Realtor, but in my town a lot of the Real Estate office have web sites with links to a version of the MLS.  It is not the same but it is close.
