  1. Most private boats tend to hire people they know, or that have been recommended by their friends, or members of local Yacht Club. You could advertise, or go to the Office of your local yacht club and drop off a resume. If you go onto www.windjammer.com, they might be looking to hire. They're the Tall Ships that travel around the Caribbean, and they are AWESOME. I'd love to work on one of those. Check out the ads in Yachting Magazines, or Caribbean Travel mags. A place to ask might even be your local travel agent. Even the Tourism Board for whatever Caribbean Island you want to end up on. www.barbados.org has some interesting stuff on there for jobs. Do some research, send some inquiries thru email. You never know who might be able to hook you up.
