Question

getting a law changed or modified in the state of Texas?

I would like to see the tax free weekend extended to a full week and have some items add on to the tax free list. I know to contact my representative but what do I do from there?

You start up a petition and get as many signatures on it as you can.  Then you send it to your representative with your request.  Your rep. takes it from there by bringing it up for a vote in the senate.
