How would I go about selling my car for parts?

I have a 1994 Nissan Maxima that has a problem with the engine misfiring. I just put new tires and new brakes on it among other things and had it inspected. Two weeks after I did all that the car starts making an awful noise and the mechanic tells me it's misfiring. I don't want to put another dime into it so I'd like to sell it for parts or have someone pay me to haul it away. It has about 198k miles on it, it's the GXE model and has very few flaws. Could someone suggest a fair price to sell for?

  1. The car is NOW WAY worth fixing, what you really need is a dating service for 94 Maxima owners where you maybe can sell and swap someones worn out tires. The real winner would be if you could find a person fixing up a Maxina of that era and you could negotiate the sale of trim pieces. If anyone wants them yours are a bargain compared to the factory price if they can found at all.

Just my ramblings on the subject--I wish you all the luck in the world selling it

  2. you should donate your vehicle to a worthwhile charity and you will get bluebook for your vehicle plus help other people !

  3. to sell for parts put ad in paper

94 nissan maxima - parting out

    new tires

    new brakes

i didn't think misfiring was that bad of problem.  thought a tuneup would fix it.

i would fix and have a one time payment rather than a$200 plus payment every month.
