How would I go about tracing my real father, he was in the navy with my mother...

Question

I'd like to try to find my real father, all I really know is his name and that he was based with my mother in portsmouth at least 9 mnths before I was born! I dont have a clue where or how to start looking, if anyone has any experiance in this kind of search your advice would be apreciated, thank you.

Send a letter to Naval Headquarters with the details of your Father.

contract the navy they have a listt of all the people that are or were in the navy

ask your mom where was the last place he was station at ask there it will faster
