You could some years ago access the Electoral Rolls, but I don't know if this is still possible.  You could try though.  Best of luck.

If you know their name try looking in the white pages, may take a few phone calls to complete strangers but it might work.

Hello.We have the same problem but my friend lives in a different Aus state.I tried the whipepages but it only gives the first letter of the name aside from the surname and address.So if you encounter alot of the same last names,you'll have to try calling all those numbers.The voters list in the state library is one way too but i have no access to it since im not in Aus.If you find a way to track down your friend,pls tell me i'll try if it works for mine.TY!
