So I play soccer a lot, and I put my hair in a ponytail to get it out of my eyes, I think thats pretty obvious. Anyways I want this haircut:

I think its too short to put up in a ponytail, and so I was wondering how would I put it up? Like use lots of bobbypins, headband, I dont know. I don't like using headbands and letting my hair fly though, it just looks bad. So yeah, suggestions?

  1. well, where i play soccer we can't use any bobby pins or clips, so i would put it in a ponytail with a headband. then put some hairspray in your hair and shape the fly-aways to go with the rest of you hair. i hope that made sense?

  2. i would put up as much as a could. and use some bobby pins or clips.

if that doesnt work i would use pre wrap as a headband just to keep the left over hair out of your face.

  3. bobby pins good luck

  4. I'm growing  out a short style right now, and I have all sorts of layers like that. It really only matters that you get the hair out of your face and off of your neck during practice. Try using bobby pins to pin the side-bangs to the crown of your head (ie. comb them straight back and pin).  Then, maybe try two thin rubber bands to give yourself low pigtails at the nape of your neck. The shorter layers at the back of your head and on the sides will still be loose (if I'm seeing the style right), but that doesn't really matter because they won't be down on your neck or in your face. If all of that doesn't work , try a plain old headband with hairspray.  Layers are hard to deal with, but your style looks great! Looking less than perfect during sports is a small price to pay for a good style at all other times.
