  1. This may not be a great answer but when i was in school we took the cartons cut the tops off and made seedling starters with them . They worked great  by the time planting season get here they will be good size plants if you can start them soon . Some kids planted flowers others planted tomatoes and all kinds of veggies . I planted pumpkins . When you put them in the ground dig a hole the size of the carton and put the entire thing in there it helps to feed the plant

  2. Waxed paper cartons really don't recycle.  The wax makes the paper unreclaimable.

If you burn them, the CO2 they release will be absorbed by plants, helping them grow and releasing oxygen for us to breathe.  If you dump them in landfill, they'll just stay there for a very long time.

  3. String them up, Cut a hole in it, and decorate it. Then just fill it up with birdseed and hang it up on a tree and you have a bird feeder.

  4. Yes!

  5. Find a company that will recycle them into candles!

  6. seed starters, birdfeeders, also, to put in your tire kit.  If you get a flat and it is dark, if you light the top, it will burn long enough and give enough light to change the tire.   Great if you have no one with you to hold the flashlight.

  7. well you could always try and take them home, or suggest to an office personel that you are interested in having a recycling program at your school. but you should probably just take them home and recycle them yourself. oh and by what your first guy said about it, DONT PUT THEM IN A LAND FILL, when i rains water runoff from the land fill poisons the nearby streams and then it starts a domino effect, FULL OF VERY BAD THINGS.  AND IF YOU BURN IT IT WILL BE BAD FOR THE AIR, BEING BAD FOR THEW OZONE !

  8. Just blam the government for not thinking of using better materials to hold liquid.

  9. You can use them for various crafts with the children. Examples are Easter baskets, Easter bunnies, planting veggies or plants, worm or ant home, craft item holder. fill with water, freeze, and make an igloo. Be creative and ask the kids to form a group and make something out of them. Let me know how it works out.

  10. If they are tetra pax they can be recycled, you would need to look on line for your nearest collection point or address to send them to.

Could you look into getting the milk in bottles?  I dont know if this is still possible or not.

There is always the option of using them for other things as suggested above by various people. And another idea, maybe younger pupils in your school could use them in their junk modelling sessions?
