There's a bird store near my home and I literally cry every time I see it... I'm 18 and am obsessed with animals. I worked at a pet store for two and a half years... Well this store is extremely tiny and hard to navigate... It's just rows of dirty cages with millions of birds stuffed into them... When I say millions, I mean like 6 Quakers in a foot and a half long cage, two macaws in a cage suited for barely one, hundreds, HUNDREDS of finches in a TINY cage, African grays, chickens, amazons, cockatiels... Like 20 in a cage the size of the one I have for my single cockatiel... I'm telling you, dirty, bad conditions... As the fat owner sits behind the desk all day because he's too big to get up without having a stroke... All of the birds look sick and this guys been in business too long... Please help me, and the birds!

  1. go to the shelter ndd tell them,

  2. call animal control with the address

  3. call animal control!!!! those birds need help!!

  4. Look up the number for the Humane Society in your local phone book or look online for the number.  Give them a call and let them know what is going on.  They will either handle it or find someone else for you to call to make a complaint.  And thanks for being so compassionate with animals.  I wish more were like you.

  5. dont let these poor animals wait any longer.. you can rescue them.. call animal control or research online on how to report abuse...

if it hasnt been reported yet.. be the one to save these birds lives.

i love animals too.. this breaks my heart!

  6. you can always contact the local humane society and they can refer you to an agency depending on where you live and the laws in your area.
