How would I research for someone born in Mannheim, Germany in 1954? I think adopted from orphanage in Worms?

I think my sister was in an orphanage in Worms, Germany. She came to the states in August of 1961. She was 7 years old. We are trying to find birth parents. Neither of us speak or can read German. Can anyone help. please?

hi ...i found my siblings...ithey live in germany ..they were put up for adoption there...i will ask my sister ... does she know what orphange?? one of my sisters was able to find out eveything ...except that our mother didnt put down the fathers name..so we will never know...but the mothers name would be on record forsure...plus......most people in germany do speak english ..just be nice on the phone...or in the letter ...here is my e mail if i can help at all...or maybe my sisters there can help..
