How would I safely store my down alternative comforter?

So, I bought my first down comforter and it is summer and I need to put it away since it is to warm. Should it be stored in a canvas bag or plastic bag?Thanks!

You should always keep the bag you bought it in. If you still have it, throw the comforter in that and it will be fine.

Feathers are a natural thing. NEVER store natural fibers in plastic.A large pillow case, or even wrapped up in a sheet, is the best way.

A plastic bag is fine. More importantly is that it is stored somewhere that is dry. You don't want it in a place that is not climate controlled.
