How would I say 11:35 (am) in french? What about pm?

I though it was "douze heures moins vingt-cinq" but the workbook told me it was wrong.

generally you don't do the subtraction thing unless it it more than 45 minutes past the hour.

Onze heures trente-cinq du soir or vingt-trois heures trente-cinq or minuit moins vingt-cinq.
