My boyfriend who is Japanese wants me to move to Japan because he can't handle not seeing me everyday; well, I honestly never even thought about moving to Japan... not my cup of tea. I know that I won't be able to find any clothes that fit me since I have the shape of say... Beyonce, haha! Anyway, I have tanned skin, black hair, and gray eyes. People always think that I'm a mixture of Black and Filipino, go figure. I've been told that I have "mongoloid" features... BUT STILL. It's a different country, different language, different culture. I'm kinda...scared?

  1. If you have tan skin then why does your avatar show you have white skin?

Well you obviously don't like Japan so don't come down here then. Tell him to go wherever it is your at. But yes your probably right you wouldn't "fit" in.

  2. You never been to japan before, right? You should say something, after you come in japan. Maybe you will change your mind about japan. Your bf is japanese, so try to like japan,  people are usually nice to foreigners, good luck

  3. They would look at you as a gaijin.. And you can only stay there as a tourist for a limited period of time. Other wise, you will have to marry him.

Part of loving someone from another country is accepting that person's culture, and becoming a part of it.

  4. do u know how lucky u r if u go 2 japan japan is like the best place 2 go in the world its got everything I'm jealous :(

  5. You must take care of your visa prior to your boyfriend to go into Japan. Without certain visa, you will be eliminated at Narita immigration office.

Japanese don't care about your looking, hair color and/or eyes color but look you just one of strangers from overseas. You can be scared. It's upto you.

  6. First, you cannot move to Japan without visa. If you are not married to him, you cannot take spouse visa. So all you can take is working visa. You cannot stay in Japan without working.

Are you ready to work in Japan?

As for reaction, you have to worry about that from his parents first of all. But it's true that many parents do not like the idea of their kids marrying a foreigner. Even if you are just his GF, parents may not like it.

  7. You will find extreme racism, Japan is not tolerant of different cultures.
